What Exactly is Blue Light?

Blue light is a range of light with the highest amount of energy in the visible light spectrum. Blue light is actually all around us, the sun being its main source. But with the advent of technology, it has now infiltrated our homes by way of smartphones, laptops, tablets, LED TVs, and even common household items that emit artificial light.

Several studies suggest that blue light penetrates deeper into the skin than UVB rays, triggering a photochemical reaction to cells, destroying them and causing permanent damage.
